Horsley Woodhouse Walking Group

The aim of the group is to encourage local walking as a cheap, convenient form of exercise whilst providing excellent opportunities and the chance to discover the natural beauty found in and around Horsley Woodhouse, Horsley, Denby and Kilburn.

Walking improves your overall well-being, and helps fight depression. Even just being in the outdoors in green natural spaces is beneficial to your mental health. Walking can also help you make new friends.

Walks are short, ranging between 1.5 .and 3.5 miles long.

They are led by first aid trained walk leaders and walkers are able to walk at their own pace.
